Hello all! The mandatory Welcome and Safety talks will be taking place on the 30th September and 1st & 2nd October at Waterside Campus in the Creative Hub!

These talks are a chance for all students living in halls of residence to meet teams who can support you during your stay and hear how we keep you safe. Welcome all new students! This year, the Residential Life Team will be hosting community living talks for all students staying in halls of residence. This will be a great opportunity to meet the team and other residents who live in your flat and close by in your building. We really hope you can join us!

The information for the time and date of your talk will be emailed to you this week coming and is available on a flyer in the kitchen of your flat. These are taking place between 2:30pm-5:30pm from 30/09-3/10. If you have any queries regarding your time, please drop us an email at [email protected] and we will be able to share this with you!

Scholars Green- all held in your building common room, on the 3rd Floor
Waterside & St Johns- those on 30/09 are in the Hyde, 4th Floor Learning Hub, all those 1-3/10 are in the Creative Hub 1st Floor Exhibition Space.

Welcome all new and returning students!

For out of hours wellbeing support and mental health resources, please sign up to the platform Spectrum Life which is available for all UoN students! The link is in our Instagram Link tree!

Through this, you are able to get the support of a mental health professional in a free, confidential service which is there to support you for all concerns.

You have access to a 24/7 helpline and there are lots of resources for wellbeing content available on the student portal. NEW: An international student support number!!

Welcome all students! The Residential Life Team will be holding drop-ins this week at the times and locations above during welcome week for any students to attend. You can spot us by our big sign which says "Residential Services"! Please come along to talk about any issues or concerns you might have about moving in to halls of residence. We can provide guidance about any issues from flat disputes to team referrals. Come along if you have any questions or would like any extra support!

Our regular drop-in times will be advertised and will resume w/c 6th October!

You can find a list of Welcome Week events on the university website under Student life > new students > welcome and induction > welcome-activities. This is also linked in our Linktree!

Once enrolled, all new students will also be able to find a list of student events from across the university on the Student Hub!

Hello all! The Residential Life Team are out of office from Friday 18th- Tuesday 22nd April. Any communications received during this time will be responded to when we are back in office Wednesday 23rd April. Please be aware due to staff availability, there will be no drop-ins next week and a slower response time than usual. Drop-ins will resume in May. We hope everyone has a relaxing bank holiday weekend! We will see you next term!
