Just working through the NEW IN box for all you lovely people.

New ‘A Certain Ratio’ bits, Fat Boy Slim (including debut album ….NICE!), some sexy soundtracks (I’ve popped them in the jazz box 😉), a lovely Radiophonic Workshop album (that I’ve got me eye on), some Spanish Punk, Beatles 1st album in MONO & a gorgeous Orb double album.

Open till 3pm.

How do you…

Find the Doghouse…Make your way to Northwich > Then to the Salty Dog > Grab a drink > Head back out the front door > Go right > Through the doorway and up the stairs > You're now in the doghouse!!

Sell your records…YES we buy records too! Bring in your collections, unwanted vinyl and ask Paul about selling your records.

Grab a coffee…Downstairs in the Salty dog you can grab a brew, a beer, a beverage and bring it up to enjoy in the Doghouse while you browse our vast record collection!

Connect to the wifi…We have WiFi! We have tables and you're welcome to use both! Work or play you're welcome to stay!

Play records…We have the coolest record player so you can enjoy some music while you're in the Doghouse! Just ask a member of the team and we will be happy to spin something for you.

Get involved…Bands downstairs, records upstairs, DJ school, screen-printer, records label you name it they are here and there's lots of ways you can join our creative hub and get involved keep an eye on our socials and our mates over at:

There’s something magic about a proper record shop.

Not the scrolling kind.

Not the algorithm guessing what you might like at 2am.

A real one. With crates. With noise. With opinions.

The Doghouse isn’t just a shop above a pub, it’s where Northwich’s music scene lives and breathes. It’s where gig nights start early, where records get played properly, and where you come “for a quick look” and accidentally leave with a new favourite band.

We believe music should be touched, talked about, argued over and taken home. That discovering something unexpected is half the joy. And that independent spaces like this only stay alive when people actually walk through the door.

So if you love live music, vinyl, discovering new sounds, or just being somewhere that feels real, come upstairs.
