Chuffed to be asked to be Guest Editor of The Glorious Edit] for spring 🌸They asked me to cherry-pick my favourite spring pieces from the independent brands and stores they champion. I was delighted to, and never short of a few words, I’ve told you why I chose them🌸.

I used to have a shop in Norwich, Soho Hip if you live there and remember it, with one of my besties Debs (Hi Deb, love you if you’re reading this. Bet she’s not 😂). Last nights sleepover 💘 I stayed at a friend’s gorgeous house that happens to be on so here you are… I made you a quick reel to have a nosey☺️. 7 beds 4 baths, perfect for a girls get together, or for families to get together.

Hooded eye winged eyeliner🐠🐠 Ride over the lumps like a Land Rover my friends, and aim for the bushes. You probably need to have wasted your life watching Will Ferrell movies like me to get that. Having said that… time spent laughing is never wasted ☺️

Face lifting contouring for dummies like me 😃I’ve been looking at hacks on YouTube & TikTok made by 20 year olds and trying them on my 51 year old face. Got it down to this system - easily achievable in a few minutes. Because let’s face it, we’d rather be out dancing💃🏻🐕🌻🙌###x

I love a lip liner all over the lip because it stays put for hours, and it doesn’t transfer onto Invisalign’s like lipsticks do💋

My daughter behind the camera last night, so it takes us 7 minutes to tell you lipstick of the day, because my girl, like her mum, is never short for a word or ten. She’s 12 and wants to start using social media. I’m encouraging her to start a podcast around being bold & being YOU. Skirting around autism, mental health, adoption, or diving into it if she wants to. She’d be fantastic. Right now she’s more interested in anime & manga, gaming, much of which is in appropriate & toxic stuff. If any of you have children out there swimming in that genre, it’s tricky terrain to navigate, isn’t it. Anyhoo, I say the word encouraging, because this one needs to want to do it.

I had so many jackets like this in the 90’s. Loved them so much I’m going back there. Most were back then, and their current runway shows take me back big time 😀. I’m currently on pre-loved sites probably trying to buy some of my old ones back📠💾.

Funny day today. Went for a mammogram, waiting for result. Edina Monsoon called it a Mammoliogram. Loved her, still do. What with the coil bring whipped out yesterday ⚓️and my cherry tarts being squished into a machine today, the old privates have seen a lot of action lately… for all the wrong reasons😳.

So here we are on the carpark rooftop, you’re propped against my car wheel. This beaut of a jacket is from which a brilliant store, giving out all the Anthropologie vibes we love.. but totally sustainable & ethical💚!!

Bought a pineapple plant. Fingers crossed I can keep it going 🤪🍍Didn’t even brush my hair today - LOVE those days☺️. Garden centre, cleaned out the guinea pigs, walked dogs, hoovered the house, ate cereal in the sunshine. The very best of Fridays ☺️ How was yours?
