I want to take a moment to address a situation that may result in a negative review or some unfounded criticism about my DJ services.
Transparency and professionalism are extremely important to me, so I believe it’s best to be open with you all in advance.
Recently, I was contacted about providing DJ services for a party. As with all bookings, I discussed the details thoroughly with the prospective client and sent a contract via Adobe Sign for their review and signature.
The contract was viewed several times but never signed, and despite polite follow-up messages from me to check if there were any concerns, I did not receive a response.
As is standard practice in the industry, I cannot reserve a date without a signed contract and deposit.
When another enquiry came in for the same date, I reached out again to the original client and explained that if I did not hear back within 48 hours, I would have to assume my services were no longer required and would release the date.
Unfortunately, I then received some hostile messages in response, including threats of negative reviews and being told they knew a lot of people in this county and I would never work in Norfolk again.
I want to reassure everyone that at all times, I have acted with courtesy and professionalism. No contract was ever signed, and no payment or deposit was ever taken. My priority is always to provide a reliable, fair, and transparent service to every client.
