Aged 12-25 and living in West Norfolk? Interested in journalism, audio-making or local history?

We're running a FREE audio workshop this Thursday 7th August at Swaffham Community Centre, with Norfolk & Norwich Festival. Teaching you all the skills and technical know-how to interview people and create oral histories.

Participants will also be able to debut their skills by conducting interviews at the Swaffham Artisan Fayre this Sunday 10 August and recordings will be archived at the Swaffham Museum.

We've had Saskia from Shoebox in the studio this week, recording the final links for Community Unboxed - a podcast all about their Community Connectors.

The Shoebox Community Hub is an incredible CIC that runs a range of amazing community groups and activities, connecting people with their communities across Norwich. From coffee meet-ups, to baking and creative writing groups!

We've loved working with them to create this podcast, supporting them to go out into communities and record interviews, and bringing them in to use the studio. If you're a fellow community organisation or not-for-profit get in touch...

We're heading back to gorgeous Hembsy this weekend for our first meet-up for The Holiday Makers project.

(Hoping that the donut hut will be open this time!)

The Holiday Makers is a new audio documentary we're creating over the summer, gathering memories of the former Pontins holiday park. Thanks to BBC news for talking to us about our new project The Holiday Makers.

We are gathering memories of the former Pontins holiday park in Hemsby on the Norfolk coast, as part of a new podcast documentary we're creating over the summer.

We'll be looking for volunteers from the local community to co-create the project with us, but also stories from anyone who might have holidayed or worked there.
