Our staff and volunteers are DBS checked and have completed Safeguarding training. We do themed weeks such as Sensory, role playing, cars and transport, dinosaurs, and letters and numbers. We also have a small, enclosed outside area.
We ask for a £1 donation towards snacks for the children. Teas and coffee's are available for adults. Why not come along and meet other mums, dads, and grandparents in your area.... :)

The Mile Cross Green Hearts were out yesterday doing the annual wildflower meadow cut , using an Austrian scythe and traditional hay rakes.
Wildflower areas need to be cut and raked in late summer every year, to remove nutrients and create the perfect conditions for delicate wildflowers next year.
We hope you've seen some of these little wildflower havens around the estate this year? At Civic Gardens, Bacton Rd, Bowers Hills and Lefroy Rd..
Why not help us look after them and create even more?

These beautiful tiles will help us to capture the rain, so we can keep our community garden watered in the growing season.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind and Norfolk Wildlife Trust have been seeing what lives in the wildlife pond at the Common Plot. We've been gently using the net, as these creatures are very delicate.
We've found young dragonfly nymphs, water hoglouse, tiny water fleas. Lots of aquatic life.
MXPEG and the Green Hearts are currently running a blue- corridor project in Mile Cross. Could you put a wildlife pond in your garden? Be a link in the chain.
