🐉Without a doubt, this is one of the most spectacular places in Wales 🐉 😍 Six reservoirs and dams lined up one after another, creating an incredible landscape🏞️ I've visited several times, but every trip feels different, and the sense of awe never fades. 😲
I arrived at the first dam at 9:30 a.m., and for a while, I had the place entirely to myself. 😁 At the other reservoirs, there were only a handful of people out for a walk. After driving past all six dams, I returned to the first one around 12:30 p.m., and by then the car park was completely full! 😁
I was lucky to enjoy this stunning corner of Wales🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 before the crowds arrived, soaking up the peace, the scenery, and the sheer scale of this remarkable place. ✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏞️

Tai tikrai viena iš įspūdingiausių vietų Welse🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😍 Šešios užtvankos viena šalia kitos😍🏞️ Esu buvęs ne kartą. Bet kiekvieną kartą vis kažkas kitaip ir įspūdis tikrai neblėsta😲 Prie pirmos užtvankos atvažiavau 9.30 ryto, tai buvau tik aš 😁 prie kitų užtvankų tik vienas kitas žmogus vaikštinėjo. Pravažiavus visas užtvankas gryžau prie pirmosios ir jau buvo 12.30. Tai aikštelė pilnutėlė buvo😁 Spėjau pasidžiaugti šia nuostabia be žmonių minios.

🐉Such a lovely place to visit! 🏞️ The setting is peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. There’s a cozy café ☕ and a restaurant 🧆🍲 on site, while closer to the water you’ll find wooden picnic tables and benches, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. You can also rent rowing boats 🚣 or small motorboats 🚤 and explore the lake at your own pace. A wonderfully calm and tranquil spot to spend a few hours. ✨🌿🌊

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿WALES🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Black Mountain🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
A fantastic hike with breathtaking views! 🙂 I made my way to the highest point of Black Mountain, standing at 704 metres above sea level ⛰️.
In total, I covered around 18 km, but the trail keeps tempting you to go further 😁. This route forms part of the famous Offa’s D**e Path, a long-distance trail stretching for 177 miles.
What makes this walk so special is that, as you follow the ridge, England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 lies on one side and Wales🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 on the other . Along the way, I passed plenty of horses 🐴🐎, sheep 🐑🐑, and endless scenic landscapes.
A large section of the route follows a rocky path, and after several rainy days, water was everywhere, turning parts of the trail into a bit of an adventure. Early in the morning, I only met a handful of people, but by the time I headed back, the path was buzzing with fellow hikers.
Definitely a walk worth every step!

Super takutis pasivaikščioti 🙂 aukščiausia vieta Black mountain ⛰️ 704m virš jūros lygio. Aš pravaikščiojau apie 18km. Bet takutis veda toliau😁 Tai Offa's D**e Path 177mylio ilgio tako atkarpa. Takas įdomus tuo, kad einant taku vienoje pusėje Anglija🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 kitoje pusėje WELSAS🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 daug arkliukų🐴🐎 aviukų🐑🐑 ir gražūs vaizdai. Nemažą tako dalį einama akmenų taku ir po lietingų dienų visur aplink vanduo. Ryte sutikau tik kelis žmones. O einant atgal jau buvo daug žygiuotojų.

🌊 The name Arrecife means reef in Spanish. The city takes its name from the volcanic reefs along the coastline, which once helped protect ships from pirate attacks.
🏛️ Arrecife was not always the capital of Lanzarote. Until 1852, the island’s capital was Teguise, but the growth of the port and increasing trade led to the capital being moved to Arrecife.
⚓ Today, it is the most important port on Lanzarote. Passenger ferries, cargo vessels, and cruise ships connect the Canary Islands with Europe and Africa through this busy harbor.
🏖️ While Lanzarote is famous for its beach resorts, Arrecife has retained a more authentic local character. Unlike tourist hotspots such as Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise, the city offers a glimpse into everyday island life and feels less focused on mass tourism.
🏰 The city is home to two historic fortresses, Castillo de San Gabriel and Castillo de San José, both built to defend the island from pirate raids and safeguard its strategic coastline. ✨
