Had to happen, second episode is out. This time I'm chatting about the things that I found weird and wonderful when I came to the UK from South Africa for the first time. Based entirely on my own experiences there's my perspectives, opinions and my humour (sorry). Hope you guys enjoy.

In this podcast episode, Donnie Rust describes the funnier experiences of immigrating to the UK from SA and integrating in the naughties.

Well, finally we decided to take the plunge and start a podcast for The Lost Executive. Having to start somewhere and needing something of a tester I made the decision to speak about my home in Pinetown and living in South Africa in the 90s.

A big part of this podcast is because recently I have become a dad and I realised that I know so little about my parent's lives and next to nothing about my grand parents. I realise that if we don't make the effort to record our adventures, they will be lost.

The other part is because The Lost Executive always aims to be relevant and podcasts are fun af to do.

This is the first one I've done, first attempt of doing this, more will be coming and they will be regular, I welcome suggestions on topics to look at. Got a lot of content to work with.

Anyway, love you all.

Listen to the debut episode of The Lost Executive Podcast, focussed on life in Pinetown, South Africa during the 90s.

I've been on a rush of podcast interviews recently. Talking about travelling, becoming a father, being a digital nomad- the naked busker- building a writing career and many of the insane projects i've been involved with. Lots of fun.

Donnie Rust recently appeared on Momadic Adventures with Effy MacMorris to discuss travel, business and travelling with a family!

I was interviewed by The Returner Support about travelling, returning home and the not often discussed issues about the culture shock travellers have when they come home to find it's not how they left it.

Worth a listen, The Returner Support is an awesome podcast!

The Returner Support interviews Donnie Rust about travelling and the not often discussed issues with culture shock after returning home.

Oh the responsibilities! have sent me to . How will I cope? :) I’ve been fed the most incredible dishes, have been plied with coffee that is just peerfect. I’ve enjoyed the deepest sleep. Got breakfast in bed. Had a wonderful chinwag with one of the owners. Enjoyed a delighted chat with a robin on my morning walk and then found a corner amongst their beautiful chesterfields and made it mine. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the Trigony Hotel if you have a home to return to, there may be issues. I’m wondering how long I can stay before I’ve technically moved in. You’ve been warned!

I will of course make sure to put all the warnings in my review in the September issue of The Logbook.
