New Rialto pamphlet now available.
The naming of hunger by Rachael Davey.

These rich, sensuous poems mark the arrival of a new and inventive voice. Rachael Davey’s pamphlet explores the raw, wrought landscapes of sea and field, guided by a keen ear for the textures and specificities of language. Haunting, erotic, reflective – her writing is attentive to the shifting registers of voice and cadence. Moving between the elemental and the intimate, the poems interrogate human behaviour – both our exploitation of the natural world and our embodiment of it – with clarity and quiet, persuasive force.
