Sometimes the wild party gremlin in me creeps out and I dance like I used to (always being the last one standing)💃🏼

But these days I can barely make it through one song without stopping & feeling like I’m dying😅

The fact we even left earlier than we planned to just shows exactly how our bodies are no longer capable of doing what we use to do✨

Dancing to a few songs & drinking one glass of wine cost me to look 8 months pregnant (in diabolical pain), my body to feel like it had been run over by a truck & took me weeks to heal from…

At least I was able to grow, live, laugh my t**s off & make some awesome memories with my friend 💕

Funny how life turns out…

It’s actually crazy to think there was a time I’d work endless hours in hospitality and mental health support just to barely afford to live

Pushing my body way beyond her limits…

Not even realising how sick I actually was🤷🏼‍♀️

I just thought I was lazy, because that’s what I’d been told my whole life…So of course I believed it too

Honestly I’d turn up to work in dirty clothes because I didn’t have the time or energy to wash them…

Barely eating on shifts because there was never a moment to stop, I was running on empty constantly🏃‍♀️

My Weekends would be spent partying doing my body weight in drugs & alcohol, dancing until sunrise…Then straight into an 8am 17hr shift with makeup still on from the night before like it was normal🙄

Looking back now I’m like…

How the f**k did I keep going for so long?

So no wonder my body finally said: Bitch we can’t do this anymore😅

And now?

I get to show up to offline events feeling good and truly looking after myself💫

While I’m educating and helping other women heal their bodies too by sharing the impact of what having the right water can do🥰

Sometimes I still think like: “Who the f**k do I think I am?”

But then I remember:

✨I’m the woman who rebuilt herself from rock bottom with nothing

✨I’m the woman who chose to listen to her body instead of fight against her

✨I’m the woman who turned her pain into purpose, now helping thousands

It’s given CEO Bad Bitch Energy💅🏼

And I will never go back to abandoning myself again♥️

Water is water right?

That’s what I used to think…And ladies, was I wrong🤷🏼‍♀️

Before starting my online business in Health & Wellness, I had no idea how important the water we drink actually is💧

I assumed there was nothing wrong with tap water (aha lol jokes on me😂)

Since becoming a water guru, I realised how chemically induced and harmful it truly is🧪

And as a chronically ill girlie, my body reacts to EVERYTHING…So it makes sense now as to why I was constantly flaring up😅

My body wasn’t just being “dramatic” she was reacting to what I was ingesting…

Like I have mentioned before, I used to be a proper sesh head…Taking anything to escape my reality, doing my body weight in drugs and alcohol to the point I could out drink a fish🐟

But at the gala on the weekend all I could manage was a large glass of wine🍷

And even that had me flaring so badly I looked 8 months pregnant🤰🏼So I stayed on the 9.5 water from the water filtration system we brought to the event💧

It’s crazy to think I used to put bottles of that away an yet now I struggle with one glass, which I am incredibly grateful for and proud of myself for getting to this point🥰

Substance abuse is not good for anyone, especially when you’re living in a body with chronic health conditions🎗️

We are made up of around 70% water…So of course the quality of it matters🚰

What you put into your body is far more significant than we’ve ever been taught…

When you live in a meat suit that is chronically I’ll, you start to realise how important it is to actually support her♥️

And sometimes the smallest changes, can make the biggest difference trust me on that🫶🏻

So if you’ve been struggling with your health and feel like your body is constantly fighting against you…I see you Sistar💫

And if you’re curious about what I’ve been doing differently, my DMs are always open🧚🏼‍♀️

Living with Chronic Illnesses completely changed my relationship with my body

In just 2.5 years I was prescribed nearly 100 different medications by my GP, ranging from antidepressants, nerve medications, morphine and a variety of strong opioids, all under the basis of “trial and error”🙄

And I know so many of my fellow spoonies will understand this…A very large majority of them didn’t even scratch the surface of the pain

So many doctors are uneducated about Endometriosis and were essentially throwing medications at me hoping something would work, 10 times out of 10 they didn’t…

Which meant starting the whole process again:

💊More medications.
🤧More side effects
🎗️More damage to my body

And still in the same debilitating pain, so it’s no surprise my mental health suffered when my body was being pumped with so many chemicals, only to end up in the exact same place I started

That’s when I realised something had to change…

I didn’t want to rely solely on pharmaceuticals that were worsening my symptoms and creating more problems long term

I wanted to start supporting my body in ways the system wasn’t offering me

The medications you see in this video are still there for the days when the pain is unbearable, because the reality of living in a chronically ill meat suit is that sometimes you simply do what you need to do to get through the day

And when you have chronic conditions, your immune system is incredibly weak as your body is constantly fighting the pain! Hence why we always catch cold/flu symptoms

But I’m also choosing to support my body in other ways, including investing in the water I drink and focusing on products that support my health rather than just masking symptoms

And please hear me when I say this, if you need strong pain relief to get through the day then take it, there is absolutely no shame in doing what you need to survive

I’ve been there and I understand♥️

I’m sharing this because there are other ways to start supporting your body too, ways that don’t require damaging it further just for a brief moment of relief🫶🏻

Endometriosis Awareness Month

I’ve had endometriosis since I was around 10 years old, but it wasn’t until a life-changing flare up in 2023 that never left that things became impossible to ignore

After 8 years of fighting to be believed, I was finally diagnosed in April 2024 through laparoscopic surgery

I always knew the extreme pain and heavy bleeding I experienced was not normal…But being a woman in this world often means being dismissed when we say we are in pain

Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 females assigned at birth, that’s nearly 200 million people worldwide and likely many more when you consider how many remain undiagnosed

Living with endo is a strange contradiction, because on one hand, it can be completely debilitating (it took my mobility for nearly 3 years)

Whereas on the other hand, you can look completely “normal” You can go to work, see your friends, go out, laugh, live life… All while your body is screaming on the inside

Endometriosis pain is stronger than labour, broken bones & non terminal cancer, yet so many of us are told to just take paracetamol because “surely it can’t be that bad.”

This is why so many people go undiagnosed or are misdiagnosed with things like IBS

Because we’ve spent most of our lives masking our pain, as women are conditioned to believe that “period pain is normal”

But let me say this clearly:

NO amount of pain is normal…

This is why awareness and advocacy matter so much,

This is what Invisible Illnesses & Disability’s can look like

Chronic Illness can happen to anyone, one day you’re living your life as you always have… And then BAM you wake up sick & never get better because you now live with an incurable condition

So be kind to people, you never truly know what someone is carrying

And honestly… Sometimes the best thing you can do is mind your own f**king business

How someone lives their life is not up for your judgement

To my fellow chronically sistars & spoonie community keep raising your voices, Keep sharing your stories

Because every story told makes it harder for the world to ignore us🎗️

Is there ever the right time to start something?

The answer the to the ever growing existential question is that, there will never be the right moment or time to start something⏳Speaking from experience, I waited over 1.5 years before I decided to start building up on my own Sustainable Online Business👩🏼‍💻

At the time there were many reasons I convinced myself as as to why I shouldn’t invest into myself (especially that much😅)

🗣️“There are so many people working in sales online surely there would be no one else to sell too, therefore I will never be successful in it”😂

or the good ole
🗣️ “I’m NoT sMaRt EnOuGh to own or build a business”

& then there was the biggest one for me
🗣️ “I can’t afford it right now”…

Which I really didn’t at the time but I was still so hesitant on finding ways to make it possible for myself because I was just simply scared…I didn’t know what was going to happen by trusting this random women I connected with online😅

An in most cases that fear is completely valid as there are a lot of scammers and pyramid schemes out there targeting vulnerable people who are desperate for a change in their life but that’s not what we are about🫶🏻
