The Mi Amigo commemorative meeting of the 648 Group is happening tomorrow night - 45 years ago to the day the pirate radio ship sank in heavy seas
Special guests are Rob Howard from the Vintage TV and Wireless Company and Retro Electro Workshop, and Roger James from the Buster James Band. It is also hoped there will be a live link-up with a former Mi Amigo DJ you will all know!
There's an auction with the top lots of two tickets to see Bryan Adams and a restored 1962 Sanyo vintage radio, test your knowledge in a Mi Amigo-themed quiz and get your hands on a special commemorative t-shirt - only available at the meeting.
Join a host of Radio Caroline and Caroline Flashback DJs at Mr G’s Bowling Centre, Market Hill, Brandon, Suffolk IP27 0AA. The evening starts at 7pm and entry is a £5 donation including buffet. Bar, raffle and free parking. Overnight accommodation at the venue.
Sadly, Mr G’s is closing its doors next week, but this meeting will go ahead as planned
