Eva approached us a few months ago, and it took me a while to get around to reading her book. Magic and fantasy are not really my scene, but when I did pick it up I was quickly hooked. Her concept merged layers of authentic Norwich history into the present, and then overlayed it with a murder mystery and police procedural narrative - clever and well written. The city locations had a familiar and authentic feel. A great story!

Those that are regular readers of the EDP will be aware of the marvellous articles by Derek James. His columns support local history and he is happy to write about the latest books available. Yesterday his article was about Chris Armstrong’s book, Norfolk Buildings with a Past, for which both Chris & Poppyland are grateful.

The book is available in bookshops and other outlets throughout Norfolk. A shout out for The Norfolk Gift Company in Watton for stocking the book and Sheringham Little Theatre which is featured in the book & will have copies on sale by the end of this week!
