To celebrate International Women’s Day 2022, Egg Box is teaming up with UEA’s Womanist and Feminist Societies to create a zine all about what it means to be a woman, today and now.

We want to see what being a woman means to you and how you every day. For this zine, we’re looking for submissions of creative writing, personal-essay pieces and visual art (illustrations, photography, etc.). Full specs can be found below:
✍🏻Creative writing: 500 words/20 lines of poetry
📝Essay: 1000 words
🎨Visual pieces: to be submitted as high-quality PNGs.

Please send submissions to [email protected] by the 23rd January 2022 for this zine and don’t be afraid of submitting more than one piece! Express yourself in as many ways as you want.

A portion of proceeds from this zine will go towards the Pandora Project, a charity helping vulnerable women in Norfolk. Search ‘The Pandora Project’ for more information.

Get in touch with any questions! We can’t wait to see what you create.
