ECC has been granted £450 from the Norfolk Community Fund, Councillor Margaret Dewsbury, to install electrics, fridges and air con.
One of the criteria of receiving the money is to create a crowdfunding link (👀) and share it with those most relevant - so here I am, doing that... 🤣
Please dont feel any obligation to donate but I'd be grateful if you would share with any connections who might donate!
What a great youth post to see! An entrepreneur in the making for sure.
This is the second such post from a teenager in Norwich that I've seen recently - perhaps the gaps surrounding career pathways could be somewhat filled with a teen programme aimed at setting up small businesses like this and https://www.facebook.com/share/15v1RtYEsS/.
What do you think? Good ideas from these young men, or do you feel that 14 is too young to start working?
Look at that lineup of Iowa farmers who showed up (during their busiest time of the year) to help a friend that was tossed by a 1200 lb. steer and has 7 fractures.
Since he can't harvest, his friends did it. They brought 8 combines and 10 semis - plus wagons and tractors. The local restaurant provided lunch and in a few hours, His harvest was complete so he can concentrate on healing. I LOVE these stories of community so much more than all the other junk going on in the world. Great job, There are still great people around us!

Hello and welcome to my little page! My name is Charli and I am a 31 year old Mum to three beautiful daughters, Summer, Lillie and Poppie.
I started my writing business in 2013, when I realised that I really did not want to return to my hideous job as a call-centre agent after having my second daughter. I did some research, spoke to friends and family who ran their own small businesses and started my own. I’ve been creating poems for gifts since I was a child, but now people who didn’t even know me were asking for me to write them something. This is the part of my job I adore the most - creating something beautiful, personal and precious that will mean the world to the person who receives it.
When I got married, in 2015, I knew I wanted something different for my wedding ceremony. After weeks of research and creating folders and scrapbooks; I finally stumbled across the idea of a Celebrant. Somebody who can write a Ceremony from scratch; creating a real-life love story using my own experiences and memories. This resonated deeply with me and, on finding out more about the business; I came up with the idea of writing my own wedding Ceremony and having my 11-year old Step-daughter read/lead it on the day. It worked beautifully and was all the more sentimental to our family and friends. Shortly after, I added to my writing business and became a Celebrant too. I’ve lead baby-namings, renewals, weddings and life celebrations all over the UK (and in some pretty random places too... ask me about the bathtub!) and can very confidently state that I love my job.
In the last year; I’ve had my third daughter, and I’ve added new services on my return; such as unique entertainment to add to your event in the role of a Storyteller. I also now offer Event Organising and Hosting, to take the added pressure off yourself. I’m very lucky in that I have many contacts all over the UK with small business owners who can provide just about anything needed for any kind of event; and pride myself on being able to organise events/parties only using small businesses.
As for the writing side of things; I can provide just about any kind of writing service you might require - from poetry, where I create personalised poems from information you give me as gifts, readings, speeches, vows, favours and more; to proofreading essays, scripts, letters of recommendations or cover letters; to creating the “blurb” for businesses for their social media pages and websites.
In a nutshell; I take the thoughts you have in your mind... and create them into words you can read aloud, or present in a number of ways as the perfect gift.
