No Fixed Address
The Still Breathing Chronicles – Book One

No Fixed Address is an interactive novel that places the reader in the first hours and weeks of homelessness in the UK.

Through a series of choices shaped by exhaustion, fear, and limited options, the reader navigates life without a safe place to sleep, relying on strangers, temporary shelter, and instinct. Every decision carries weight, but not every outcome feels like a clear choice — reflecting how quickly survival can replace long-term thinking.

This book does not portray homelessness as dramatic or romantic. It shows the quiet realities: waiting, uncertainty, dependence, and the way ordinary moments can push people toward situations they never planned to enter.

Designed for young people aged 14–18, No Fixed Address can be read as a standalone story or as the beginning of a four-part journey that continues through exploitation, prison, and release.

Written to be educational without lecturing and immersive without glamorising, the book encourages readers to reflect on how vulnerability develops — and how easily anyone can lose stability.

I’m looking for sponsors to help buy books so I can give some out to young people and those who may benefit but can’t afford to pay.

book 1 - No fixed address interactive novel / Game is now finished.

An interactive Novel/ Choose Your Own adventure

I wanted to write a book / game as an interesting, engaging and interactive way of learning about subjects like homelessness, county lines, prison and release. This is book 1 of 4.

Homelessness

What happens when there is nowhere left to stand?

No Fixed Address asks readers to step into homelessness one decision at a time — where choice feels real, but freedom rarely follows.
A story about survival, movement, and what it costs to keep going.

Book 2 Taken Places explores County lines crime

Book 3 inside time explorers a prison sentence

Book 4 After Time explorers Proson Release

It’s set up for non readers, neurodivergent readers, dyslexic readers and young adults.

I’ll put a sponsorship page in the books for contributors names / businesses

Let me know if you can help

A different life.

And I used to be a violent man. A homeless addict. People would cross the street to get away from me.

Then I got sober and found a new way of life. I earned back almost everything I lost.

I found my love of words. Found healing in writing and

I genuinely love making these videos even though they only play to a few.

I’m not polished, rough around the edges and still learning confidence (that’s the hardest part for me). Every time I write one of these and put it into the world I strip myself vulnerable.

But getting there a day at a time

Hope you all had a great . It been over a decade since I was but it still sits uneven with me and I think about those who were not lucky enough to escape like I did. Spare a thought for them this season.

My First Young Adult Novel, In fact my first work of fiction coming early next year. It's Finished, been working on it intermittently for a year or so now.

I wanted to do something that was fiction so i can work my way into writing a Christmas book for my wife. I also wanted something different and more fictional but still me to be able to sell at book and craft fairs but still very much me and something for a younger but still mature audience of 15+ that is still educational and engaging that is based around County Lines Crime.

It's not a true story but grounded in reality and tackles subjects familiar to me and many others like:

County lines exploitation and grooming

How young people are drawn into crime through trust, not violence

Foster care, loss, and vulnerability

Neurodivergent strengths being exploited

Trauma, coercive control, and survival behaviours

Boundaries, recovery, and finding belonging without being used
