Lab Media Laboratory Media Education simplify technology so that it can be used creatively to achieve positive change in Education, Health and Social Inclusion.

We work with wide range of partners, clients and students to identify how creative technology can achieve a positive change. We do this in a wide range of settings in projects such as early years music, engaging teenagers in education using robots and coding or making patient voice videos for mental health patients.

One of our students designed and 3D printed all of the chassis, rolling stock cabin and couplings for this train. Using a lego battery and motor he designed the transmission. The driver is a subcontractor who brought his own steering wheel.

Our Story

Laboratory Media Education started as a private company specialising in music technology with children. We are now a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit) using many different new and emerging technologies to make positive change to peoples lives in all areas of society.

We have a number of ongoing outreach projects and also deliver many activities from our study centre in Hellesdon .
