The countdown is on to the Harling 10K - Sunday, September 21!

Organised by Harling AC, this much-loved race is part of the Sportlink Grand 10K Series and offers something a little different: a mixed-terrain course with 70% on tarmac roads and 30% off-road through the beautiful Harling Woods.

Last year’s champions Laurence Rouse and Nicola Bennett set the bar high - but who will come out on top in 2025?

Throwback: Callum Bowen-jones and his record run at the Bure Valley 10

As we look ahead to the finale of this year’s Sportlink Grand Prix Series, we can’t help but throw it back to a standout moment from last year’s Bure Valley 10.

It was here that Callum Bowen-Jones produced a stunning performance, storming home in a course-record time of 52:45.

Callum set the bar high on the fast but testing 10-mile route, cementing his place in the event’s history books.

The big question is: will anyone get close to that benchmark this year?

With the Grand Prix titles still up for grabs and many athletes sharpening their form ahead of autumn marathons, we could be in for another classic on the lanes around Bure Valley.

Bure Valley 10 – The Grand Finale of the 2025 Sportlink Grand Prix Series

The Sportlink Grand Prix Series reaches its climax on Sunday, September 28, with the Bure Valley 10 – a fast and popular 10-mile race hosted by Bure Valley Harriers.

For many runners, it’s not just about Grand Prix points.

The timing makes it the perfect fitness gauge ahead of other autumn races whilst 10 miles offers a great test of strength, pacing and endurance – giving you a clear picture of where your training is at.

Expect a competitive front end as Series standings are decided, but also a brilliant community atmosphere that has made this event a staple of the Norfolk running calendar.

🏆 Back-to-back wins for Rose Nicholson!

The Waveney Valley AC athlete claimed victory at the Great Yarmouth Half Marathon, race nine in the Sportlink Grand Prix Series, in 1:21:46.

She praised the support on course, with regular water stations and sponges helping runners in the warm conditions.

Will she go for the hat-trick in 2026? Rose says: “I’ll give it a go!”

🔥 Late surge seals it!

Callum Bowen-Jones took victory at the Great Yarmouth Half Marathon – race 9 in the Sportlink Grand Prix Series – pulling clear of Harry Allcock in the final miles.

Hot conditions, an undulating course, and a battle that went right down to the wire… this one had it all! 🏃‍♂️💨
