The tiniest things make such a difference sometimes. We bought some hooks from IKEA 2 or 3 weeks ago, and we finally got round to putting them up for my sleepwear. The positive vibes it gives me to see them neatly hung, not in a trip hazard pile on the floor by the plug, matter so much.

I could pretend the first image is how I look right now, but actually it's the second- I'm still in bed having an unexpected and very appreciated lazy morning (we thought we had kids to get up for today but got days mixed up)

In the spirit of making time for "me stuff", I'll still have a make-up play about today, but I'm not sure anything can beat last weekend's.

I felt so happy and confident about how it came out, how my eyes and skin tone looked, I didn't Photoshop my face in any of the images I took that day, only some image/colour enhancements to make that purple light in the background pop.

Today's make-up vibe is less sea witch, more Autumnal witch. And I'm very pleased to say apart from some lighting composition adjustments (brightness contrast, blur background etc) I haven't edited this image! No "soften" no "blemish remover" no "remove dark circles" all just makeup and lighting 🥰 It's rare I'm happy with images of me without 'shop-ing them in some way

Been dying to post this gorgeous edit did of a previous picture, but my brain was like "nooo don't post both too close together that'll look repetitive"
But OMFG I would totally go this colour for real. 😍
I need to find a way of getting the damn greeny blue out when the red bleeds away though, my hair is still a wee bit green right now and I hate it. Yesterday when I was getting a jab the nurse told me that crushed aspirin or ketchup would do it! Anyone heard this too/ had success with it?
