KEY Public Health - HEAT Alert Message

We recently saw the first yellow heat health alert for 2025 being issued. While lots of us look forward to the warmer weather, it can cause serious problems like heat exhaustion and heatstroke for older and vulnerable people.

UPDATE: UKHSA has now released an AMBER Heat Health Alert from 12PM on 19/06/2025 until 9AM on 23/06/2025 across the East Midlands.

Vulnerable people who are at greater risk of heat harms include:

Those aged >65years old
Those aged
