Just a reminder:
Psalm 118:8-9 says ā€œIt is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.ā€

And, Micah 7:5-6 Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the woman who lies in your embrace guard the words of your lips.

A House girl asked her madam to increase her salary. The madam asked her to give 3 reasons why she need her salary to be increased.

HOUSE GIRL: I can cook better than you.

MADAM: Who told you that?

HOUSE GIRL: Your husband told me.

MADAM: Okay, second reason....

HOUSE GIRL: I can iron better than you.

MADAM: Who told you that?

HOUSE GIRL: Your husband told me.

MADAM: Okay, last reason.

HOUSE GIRL: I am also better than you in bed

(Madam got furious, grabbed a stīck to smāsh her head)

MADAM: Did my husband say that?

HOUSE GIRL: NO, the driver told me I'm better than you in bed.

MADAM: Shhhh! Lower your voice please! I will increase it šŸ„°šŸ™šŸ™....

Enjoy the rest of the day guys šŸ˜‚.

Today, I came across several heartbreaking posts and videos on social media, particularly the one about the 16-year-old vibrant and promising boy who tragically drowned in my city last week. I couldn’t hold back my emotions—I broke down in tears. I wept like a baby.

Those who truly know me understand that I’m a strong person in many aspects of life, but I’m also deeply emotional. The overwhelming stream of sad news lately has been a lot to bear. Honestly, I felt like deleting all my social media accounts—it’s just too much sometimes.

Although, amid all the heartbreaking stories, there have also been countless beautiful moments and uplifting news that remind us life truly has two sides— joy and sorrow, light and darkness. May we and our loved ones continually dwell on the brighter side of life. May our days be filled with peace, love, and reasons to smile, and may only the good that life offers find its way to us, now and always.

May we and our children be shielded from all forms of harm. May the mighty hand of God protect us and our loved ones always. And may God, in His infinite mercy, comfort the family of the young boy and all those who are grieving such painful losses šŸ™.

Don’t be that woman, know your worth and set your boundaries.
Good morning, my lovely people!

Have you ever read a story that left you completely numb, so overwhelmed that you fall silent, unable to find the right words? That’s exactly how I felt today.

I came across a heartbreaking account of a 16-year-old college boy who went sightseeing with friends at a lake. What began as a fun and carefree outing ended in unimaginable tragedy. They decided to go for a swim, and despite knowing how to swim, the boy drowned.

It’s the kind of story that makes you pause and reflect deeply. How does something like this happen to someone who can swim? Was it a sudden cramp, an undercurrent, panic, exhaustion—or something no one could have predicted? It’s terrifying to think that even with skills, life can still slip away in an instant.

Here, many parents make it a point to enrol their children in swimming classes, among other activities, believing it’s a safeguard. And yes, learning to swim is vital—but stories like this remind us that water safety is more than just knowing how to swim. It’s about understanding water conditions, staying aware, and sometimes, just recognizing when not to enter the water at all.

This story has stayed with me, not just for the tragedy of a life lost too soon, but for the haunting reality that even being prepared doesn’t always guarantee safety. It’s a sobering reminder of how precious and unpredictable life can be.
