EMERGENCE: Help needed please! I've been shutout of my own page as Frank Edmund Earp. Every time I log-in to FB it comes up as a very changed Cuuckoo's Press! (I am Cuckoo's Press and not myself if you know what I mean!). I can get onto my own page as a visitor but not able to make a post!

LIDAR image of and a part of the 1899/1913 6"- 1mile O,S, map, Theses show the remains of what would have been a large prehistoric barrow. Legend has it, the thorn tree which was once growing at its centre, was the tree in which the Wise Men Of Gotham attempted to ‘pen’ a Cuckoo. Like the Thornborough Henges, the mound may originally have been covered in crushed gypsum. The red line on the map is the ‘Hemlock Stone Portway.’ The Cuckoo Bush Mound is just one of a large number of prehistoric monuments lying close to this ancient trackway.

Anyone able to interpret Lidar imagery?
Strange curvilinear anomaly in field near Strelley Hall. The anomaly is appears as a simple un-labelled black circle on the 1888 6” to 1mile map. The late Paul Nix complete survey of the Strelley area, - including this field, - in the 1960’s, makes no reference to this site. I have known Strelley all my life and have carried out a great number of field trips to sites in and around the village many times. I have been completely unaware of this feature. It appears as a crop-mark in the grass on earlier Google Earth images. However, the 2019 image shows it as much more. The filtered 2019 Lidar 1m map shows a great deal of hidden detail. Can any member of this group suggest what this and the surrounding feature represent??

Three Stones Project. Phase 1, The Hemlock Stone: Clear photographic evidence of Mayday/Beltane sunrise, observed from Stony Clouds, Sandiacre, over the Hemlock Stone.
