In case you missed the reel – I came across this burnt-out car and bike right in the middle of the woods on my walk around Strawberry Hill Heath in Mansfield.

A sad sight to see, and it definitely had me questioning the story behind how they ended up here.

Loads of you have been asking which hotel I stayed in for my Benidorm trip – it was Marina Resort!

If you’re a party person who loves loud music by the pool all day (and yes, you’ll hear it from your balcony too), then this place is right up your street. Same vibes, same tunes, every single day. If that’s your scene – perfect. But if you’re after a more chilled Benidorm break, I’d say the Old Town might be more your style.

The staff at Marina Resort were brilliant – really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spot on too, with plenty of veggie and vegan options, plus omelettes made to order. The rooms were great, and I really loved the inside décor – especially the piano area, which gave it a very cool feel.

Location-wise, it’s close to the beach. The balcony view is mostly high-rises (as you can see), but honestly, that didn’t bother me. Very much a party hotel, but definitely a cool place to stay.
