❤️So often people forget that the older people in their lives, in many cases, have done some amazing things and given so much.

Below is a fabulous clip of Prunella Scale's life. As many of you know she had Alzheimer's Disease. This was just one part of her life since her diagnosis in 2014. RIP Prunella.

🥰Have you ever had a chat with an older person about their life? As people get older they often seem to become more invisible to others 🥲.

😍We love to hear their stories, their recounting of life events, about their families, holidays, where they lived, what they did for a living, their favourite things do to or places to go, their favourite childhood toy 🧸 etc.

🥲Older people's lives can often become quite unstimulating especially if they have become less mobile or are looking after a loved one.

🤔One of our customers used to travel all over the world for their job! Have you ever thought of what it might be like now to be stuck at home everyday after such a colourful working life?

❤️Our wonderful team do their best to help put joy, interest and purpose back into others' lives. ❤️

🤩 In a recent survey of our customers, our wonderful team scored 9.8 stars 🌟 out of 10 for the wonderful service they deliver.

🥰OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN HAVING A WONDERFUL SUMMER! ☀️

☺️So have we! We have loved every minute of supporting our wonderful customers to live their best lives possible!

🍦We have had many outings
👰 We accompanied someone to their grandaughter's wedding
🧒 We have arranged and accompanied a few customers to regular hairdresser and medical appointments
☕️ We have taken customers on trips to cafes, garden centres, shops, other places they have chosen
🎁 We organised and accompanied a customer to a birthday treat out with a visiting relative
🥪 We have made picnics and accompanied customers to a favorite picnic spot
😢 We have supported someone who has recently been bereaved to get back on their feet again
🏃‍♀️ We have supported customers to do their seated or other exercises
🍰 We have baked cakes, made soups and other tasty favourite dishes with customers
🐶 Some of us have brought our 4 legged friends to visit our customers which they have loved
🚶 We have walked with some of our customers if they are able
🌺 We have supported some of our customers to choose and arrange flowers
📖 We have read to customers who cannot see so well 👓
🎵 We have sang with some of our customers
🤔 We have reminisced and looked at old photos
🧳 We have engaged customers in recounting memories of past holidays
🥘 We help many customers with food preparation
🧺 We have helped do laundry and light household duties
🌺We have watered customers'gardens
♟️ We have played dominoes, scrabble, draughts, cards with some customers
🏥 Continued our visits when a customer in hospital

🥰Most of all, we continue to provide an expert, friendly, person centred service. Our fabulous team are amazing companions to our customers, great listeners and always go over and above to ensure our customers are the happiest they can be.

We have always been by the side of our fabulous customers supporting them to do exactly what they want to do.

We spend much of our time engaging and supporting our customers to feel motivated so that they feel like living the best life they can. This way they feel they have things to look foreward to and feel like there is meaning and purpose in their lives.❤️

"When you become frustrated with older people because of what they cannot do, think of how frustrated they must feel because they can no longer do it."

It's easy to feel a surge of frustration when an older loved one struggles with tasks that once seemed simple for them.
Watching them grapple with technology, forgetful moments, or physical limitations can test our patience. However, in these moments, it's essential to remember that our frustration is but a shadow of what they must be experiencing internally.

In the grand tapestry of life, the roles we play often shift. Today, we may be the ones offering support; tomorrow, we might find ourselves in need of it.
By approaching our older loved ones with empathy, we honor their journey and enrich our own, creating a legacy of compassion that transcends generations. ❤☀

🥰When we meet families for the first time, one of the first things we do is ask if they know about Attendance Allowance and if necessary, out of goodwill, we often signpost them to help or hands on guide them on how to apply!

Our older people deserve to have the means to help support them. They have lived long lives, put so much into society themselves over the years, worked hard, raised families, lived, loved, laughed.

😢Many older people live in a world of day to day hardship in terms of their health, loneliness, reduced mobility and so much more.

❤️🐶Did you know that our furry friends can bring about feelings of happiness, an improved sense of well-being, stimulate cognition, they can help reduce stress and anxiety, help make people feel loved, offer companionship, encourage physical activity, evoke memories - plus so much more!

🥰Most of our wonderful team
have dogs! With the permission of their families, it became a dog loving week when their four legged friends visited our customers.

On top of that one of our team went to a dog birthday party 🥳 this evening! It's all things 4 paws 🐾 this week!

Our customers have really enjoyed their time with our team's wonderful pooches! 🥰🐶
