I made this cake three months ago and only just found it 😅
I don’t use my baking kitchen much anymore, and it was hiding in the fridge I barely open. Don’t worry — I don’t make cakes for the public these days. This was never going out to anyone.
BUT… if you’ve ever worried about making a cake “too early” — look at this thing. Three months old and it still looked okay 👀 (I wouldn’t eat it, obviously)
So please stop stressing about making your cake the day before. A properly stored cake stays fresh for DAYS. I always used to make mine about 5 days ahead and they were absolutely fine.
