Recently, I’ve written this article for a client of mine - Station Yard Farm Shop in Eggesford, Devon. This was featured in the local magazine, The Little Dart, advertising to local people - reaching new customers, building a community connection but also supporting another local media business, reflection on both of our business’ values (supporting eachother) - win, win.
But why a magazine?
Having a great social media presence can miss out on your targeted customers who aren’t on social media. An advert like this gets more attention because the pace is different, is slower compared to a social media post scrolled past in seconds.
Photos make a difference
Beautiful photography shows that you’re a professional and trusted business and creates REAL connections to people - showing you’re human.
Time is critical in a business
As a creative, I not only love creating the work for my clients but actually doing it with a passion for showcasing businesses because they really need it and don’t have the time to sit down - they have 1000 other things to do.
The process was long but worth it
…because of the results! But it wasn’t just case of writing and taking photos; it was interviewing my clients, taking and editing these photographs and in the end, creating a result that works.
