We are aimed at anyone interested in wholesome living and holistic lifestyles with tips, info, and helpful content for improving mental and physical health. Each issue will also include a carefully selected directory of local and

nation-wide services and resources that we hope will be of use to our readers, some of which will have been featured in our articles. Based in the North East of Scotland we are keen to support local and independent businesses, services, coaches, bloggers, podcasters, artists, therapists, and influencers but are currently open to anyone UK based who may be interested in contributing or adverting with us. This morning's view at little . 💜

Although it feels a long way off before we get planting next year, I know the Winter snow reminds me to be patient and to enjoy some of the magical moments it brings. With this in mind I'm slowly working away this season on ideas and visions for what's to come. Hunkering down is very much my happy place for now. ❄️

The time has come to create our own little world of ...🪻🌸

During Spring 2026 we will be planting a small field of at our in . It might sound a little crazy with the temperamental weather here in the north east of . However, we did a little trial of a small selection of last year and thankfully most of them survived. 😃🙏

Who knows if it will work but we are putting our and into this little of ours. There is of course lots of hard work going on at the moment, mostly groundworks and lots and lots of topsoil and way too much raking..🤦😆but it's all part of this ..remind me of this when we are up to our knees in all the sand that's coming soon too.

The Root and Branch is an online updated version of our original magazine - The Wishing Tree. Based in the North East of Scotland we are suitable for anyone interested in wholesome living, holistic lifestyles, and supporting local.

Focusing on health and wellbeing, we bring the latest healthy living information, resources, and articles straight to you. From self-care and mindfulness, to homeschooling and baking.
