🌈As part of this year's Way WORD Festival, Pushing Out the Boat looks forward to participating in an exciting reading event titled "Spotlighting North East Magazines" on 1st October.

🤝Joint with Causeway/Cabhsair magazine, we will be delighted to present a mix of poetry and prose at the Sir Duncan Rice Library, performed, of course, by some of our lovely contributors.

This Saturday will have a blank poetry wall, waiting for your WORDS, at Books and Beans for the Big Belmont Bash.

Come and write two lines of anything that you feel and once the wall is full we will give 3 x £30.00 vouchers to the couplets that make us smile and feel the most emotional🥰

No age groups just the impact of words. Have a go and let's prove that any one can be a poet 📜📖🖋📚

From 12-4pm and winners announced at 5pm.

We will also have 'higher and lower', and lots of vouchers but are SOOOOOO looking forward to the POETRY WALL!!!
