Modelling microphones showdown!

We’ve been very lucky here at York Street to get to play with all sorts of cutting-edge toys.

Our Sphere DLX is an incredible new addition to our mic locker that arrived with our new Apollo audio system.

Meanwhile, Michael’s trusty ML-1 has been his go-to microphone for years. These mics bring the sounds of classic vintage recording microphones into 2024.

What should we record these two beauties on? Come and put them through their paces here at York Street!

Our friend has fast become a familiar face here at York Street!

The self-described ‘oldest new kid on the block’ never fails to raise our musical spirits, and we couldn’t be prouder of the music he has coming out!

His latest single, Roy G Biv, is now available to stream on all platforms. We don’t know what tea you’re singing about Ginge, but we don’t think it’s the Tetley’s we have at the studio... 🍄🌈✨

Even more exciting, you can now pre-save his debut 5-song EP ‘First Time’ which he’ll be launching at on Sat 4th May!

We’re thrilled to see our friend Declan Donnelly release his debut single - his first single ever, ever! - ‘You Didn’t Stay’
