Say hello to Michelle! 👋

She’s been part of the Dobcross Village Store family for 8 years, and if you’ve popped in, you’ve probably seen her crouched down making new four-legged friends 🐶 🦴 or keeping the little ones entertained. 🧸 👶

Michelle’s now 10-year-old daughter was once our tiniest helper, handing out biscuits as a toddler - and you’ll still spot her during the summer holidays, proudly managing doggy treat distribution like a pro.

Michelle’s a massive Halloween fan 🎃 a regular at rock gigs 🎸 and has a not-so-secret love affair with all things stationery 🖊️

Her store faves? Sour cream pretzels 🥨 and a Picnic bar 🍫 = ultimate snack combo.

We’re heading into the quietest time of the year … the school holidays — so if you can, please pop in at least once a week to support your village store. Every visit makes a difference and helps keep this vital space thriving.

🌿 Today, the talented Dobcross Youth Band are wearing sprigs of rosemary on a rose in honour of Rosemary Whiffin — a much missed volunteer, friend, and beloved member of our community.

Rosemary gave so much of her time and heart to Dobcross Village Store and to all who knew her. We remember her with love and gratitude today and always. 💚

We’re open from 8:30am to 8pm for all your essentials, plus fresh sandwiches, tasty samosas, crispy onion bhajis, drinks, snacks, and more.
