It's always great coming back to this studio. We've got five cameras rolling and we also added some visual interest. There's a bit of colour on the cove, which looks great on the video. My phone really exaggerated it in the photos, it's much more subtle in real life 😅

Another highlights filming with some vox pops in London yesterday. This was an interesting one, bunch of young engineers creating new designs and competing with each other. I am using my typical setup: gimbal for wides and handheld for the rest.

Alongside our own projects with RYG Films, I also take on freelance work. Yesterday I was asked to come on a shoot as a camera operator. I didn't need to bring any gear, which means no loading of my car in the morning :) It's a really nice change of pace.

Few screen grabs from last week’s healthcare conference. When I’m filming events like this, I’m always looking to catch the conversations, the product demos, the interactions between people. They often happen fast, so shooting handheld with a zoom lens is a must.

Seems like I've been mostly filming highlights videos lately, promoting events to attract more delegates and sponsors for next year. Here are few snaps from last night, LGBTQ+ Defence Awards in London.

Another great Family Arts Festival in Corby. I was filming handheld for most of the day, apart from when I did some vox pops with the public.

Handheld is the best way to film this kind of events where I need to be fast, as things are happening literally all over the place. I'll be making a highlights video, can't wait to get started on the edit.

Another medical conference filmed and the footage backed up (almost 600 GB of it).

The highlight video will be used to attract even more people for next year's event. I also filmed a number of workshops (two camera setup), where some very clever people shared their knowledge. .tech .global

Great couple of days in London filming highlights video and some vox pops at a healtcare conference. I've got to use some new bits of equipment too, the new 7 inch .tech monitor is great. 👍

Really happy with my FPV UK membership. Not many places offer £5 million public and product liability insurance for both FPV and traditional LOS drones. Peace of mind for me and the clients.
