Petts Wood 10k

This time 3 years ago, we had more women than men registered for the PW10K. Today, the split currently stands at 57% men, 43% women. Come on, ladies! Level those stats up!

Are men scared of commitment? Our evidence suggests that perhaps they are. We've got more women than men signed up for the Petts Wood 10K so far. Come on guys, register today! (alternative last sentence - You go, girls!).

It's the last day of August. The kids are going back to school, most of us are back at work, and we're all back on life's treadmill. But as any runner knows, treadmills suck! So get yourself signed up for a proper race. One with a decent mix of road, trail and woodland. One where professional, quality race photos are free, and where you can reward yourself with a pint mere metres from the finish line, thanks to our friends at One Inn the Wood

Just £22, or £20 for EA registered runners. Precious few 10K races offer that kind of value these days.

A couple more Petts Wood 10K banners went up this evening. Hawkwood Estate, Hazelmere Rd entrance (possibly now known as Blue Alley) and Orpington station.
