It’s Emily Tranter’s birthday and what a year it’s been for our fastest growing talent ✨

The rise of this young photographer, from a local college student just wanting work experience to sharing sets with soap stars is a lesson to anyone seeking opportunity 🙏

Met our Henry House leading lady on her first day ✅
Shadowed a photographer at Holly & Ivy auditions ✅
Became unit stills photographer for the actual film ✅
Covered the launch of a national endorsement ✅
Photographed an event in honour of Jack Morris ✅
Went on to work on multiple sets with soap stars ✅
Got to work on an Amber Hayden music video ✅
Took the ONLY photos of the Henry House wrap ✅

And now that young college student is embarking on a brand new journey at University. Something she credits her on set industry work experience for making possible 🥹

“I strongly believe that this experience is the reason as to why I received 3 university offers for film production, just a few days after applying!” 🗣️

Many Happy Returns, Emily and have the best day. No one deserves it more after the year you’ve had 🥳

We had a wonderful time yesterday with this lovely lot from Qube Oswestry 🤩

Qube, amongst other things, facilitate social groups and activities to help improve the quality of life for local people, including the elderly & the disabled 🫂

And our Henry House Creator, Gareth Owain David Thomas was invited to be a Guest Speaker for one of their regular sessions at Hope Church Oswestry 🎤

Gareth talked to them all about the making of our star studded local TV pilot and they enjoyed spotting the actors they knew from their own favourite shows 📺

They had some great questions at the end for Gareth about our care home comedy drama and we can’t wait to go back and see them all again soon ☺️

September is World Alzheimer’s Month 🧠

Alzheimer’s is a big part of Henry House, our care home comedy drama TV pilot, and we felt privileged to actually meet people living with the disease whilst making it 🙏

So every in September, we’re shining a light on the inspiring individuals living with Alzheimer’s who helped make our show as truly authentic as it is 🫶🏻

Like when our leading lady, Órla Jones was given the incredible opportunity to sit down and get to know some of the wonderful residents of Oxbow Manor Care Home 🏠

We’re so grateful to Care UK and their staff for supporting Henry House in so many ways; from consulting on the authenticity of our scripts to facilitating visits like this! 🩵

On Saturday, 4th October, we’ll be following the brave mother of a young Wrexham fan who tragically took his own life, as she takes part in this inspiring event 🎗️

🚨 It’s Emergency Services Day! 🚨

So we’re taking it back to the time Henry House got to film with it’s very own ambulance for a special scene at Iscoyd Park, courtesy of Medical Industry Support Group 🚑

We loved working with Abigail & Oliver, who even got to meet a few famous faces on the day, like Annette Badland, who was filming for our care home comedy drama 🎬
