Utterly delighted to see The Other Father Christmas in the December round up in the this Saturday. As the first published title from Storymix it means a lot that the book is resonating with readers young and old. Kids publishing has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons recently with the news that a household name has been dropped by their publisher but please know so many authors are out here creating books to delight and inspire children. what a job it must be to read all the titles that come your way - thank you for your hard work - we appreciate the space you make for our work.

Thanks for platforming our stop animation trailer for The Other Father Christmas - this is its debut! We worked with .social for the stop animation - starting with a brainstorming and storyboarding session. We wanted something hand made that felt festive and unique. Something that would get across how special we think The Other Father Christmas is - our first title from our indie publisher Storymix Books. It’s another book drop - this time in North London. Dropped off one of our festively wrapped copies of The Other Father Christmas . Failed to get a pic in front of but the bookseller there was so lovely and friendly. Then off to who were soooo welcoming - Miriam hello 👋🏾 thanks for your hospitality. Indie bookshops have been such champions of this title - the season reminds us to be grateful and we are so grateful for bookshops and indies in particular.
