Me and my friends visited Broadway Tower in Cotswolds last summer. I had to drive around 15mins from Stow-on-the-Wold, and honestly, it turned out to be the best decision ever.

There’s just one tower standing alone on top of the hill, and the moment I first saw it, I felt this strange kind of emptiness hit me - in a calm, quiet kind of way. But the view? Absolutely breathtaking.

From up there, I could see long lines of trees stretching out across the land, and the wind and the smell of the air reminded me so much of အညာ in winter. It gave me that same peaceful, slightly nostalgic vibe I get from the Myanmar countryside during cold season.

The whole place felt open, quiet, and healing and it's become one of my fav places in England.

Note: Cotswolds ဆိုတဲ့နေရာလေးက UK တောင်ပိုင်းမှာရှိတဲ့ သဘာဝအဆန်ဆုံးနေရာလေးဖြစ်ပြီးတော့ ကျေးလက်ရှုခင်းတွေ ချစ်စရာကောင်းတဲ့ရွာလေးတွေ၊ ရှေးဆန်တဲ့ architecture တွေကြောင့် British လူမျိုးတွေက်ိုယ်တိုင်လည်းလာလည်ရတာအကြိုက်ဆုံးနေရာလို့ပြောလို့ရပါတယ်။ Harry Porterရဲ့ တချို့ဇာတ်ဝင်ခန်းတွေလည်း Cotswold မှာရိုက်ခဲ့တာပါ။

Broadway Tower ကတော့တောင်ထိပ်မှာတစ်ခုတည်းရှိနေတဲ့ ၆၅ပေလောက်မြင့်တဲ့မျှော်စင်ကြီးဖြစ်ပြီး Cotswolds ရဲ့ ဒုတိယအမြင့်ဆုံးနေရာမှာရှိတယ်လို့လည်းသိခဲ့ရပါတယ်။
အဲ့တော့ Cotswolds သွားလည်ရင် Broadway Tower ကိုလည်းဝင်ခဲ့ကြပါ။
