What a day yesterday - trying my best at the amazing Glentress 7. I manged to ride 77km and do 2200m of climbing (7 laps), which is the biggest ride I have ever done on the bike!
My descending was a strength, my climbing was more about surviving a 7hour ride! Overall I am pleased because I feel like I got through the dark places and managed what I was capable off on the day. It couldn't really have gone better to be fair.
My love for my Cygnus is through the roof. This bike is so much fun! And thanks to for the tyre advice... Barzo and Mezcal is a brilliant XC combo.
Shout to the marshals, the organisers, the spectators, and everyone who turned up, from the fastest to the slowest. Everyone I met or chatted to was just riding bikes and pushing their own limits. Can't ask for more than that 👌
Finally, a huge thanks you to my good friend Jon for helping with filming on the day. I am really hopeful I will be able to get a great video for you guys.
