✨ 2025 RECAP | CAPTURED SOUL PHOTOGRAPHY ✨
What an incredible, jam-packed year it has been 🤍
From moving into our brand new studio in February, to welcoming so many amazing people through the doors, 2025 has been a year of growth, creativity, and truly stepping into my purpose.
This year I pushed forwards with specialising in dance and performing arts photography, while continuing to offer family portraiture, fine art, school portrait sessions, birthdays, and milestone celebrations and more — because capturing the connection between people is something truly beautiful, and at the heart of everything I do.
✨ Emeila’s journey alone says it all — from progress dance images, to the start of her modelling portfolio, and then onto her powerful Warrior Princess session, making a bold statement that you can’t keep this warrior down 💥
Dance minis earlier in the year were a total joy. Imogen was simply incredible to work with, bringing such maturity and skill to the set. The two Mias — Mia K and Mia M — were just as fabulous, lighting up the studio with their beautiful technique and infectious energy. And Emeila was an absolute superstar during the minis too, bringing her A-game to every single frame! All four are trained by the incredible Sam Swan at HAUS of Dance, and the talent they brought to the studio was unmatched.
I was also thrilled to welcome Katusha and Alexa for their dance mini sessions. Both girls were absolutely incredible to work with and represented Vibe School of Dance beautifully! 🤍
My amazing twins Evelyn & Farrah were nominated by their wonderful teacher Hannah Davey for their dance session — such an honour 🤍
Then came Isabelle, who brought such wonderful energy and grace to the studio, and the talented Macy from Vibe School of Dance, who was an absolute star to work with. The beautiful Georgia also blew me away, showcasing her incredible skills and versatility during a session that was simply stunning to capture.
And of course Gemma, who I’ve known for many years — stepping into the studio and completely owning the queen that she is during her dance/modelling session 👑
I invited Carlie to join me to test some new equipment — as a member of my original Soul Squid, I knew she would deliver exactly what was needed, and she absolutely did. So much so, that when I found out she was retiring from competitive dance, I invited her back to commemorate her incredible dance journey 🤍
I’ve known Lexi since she was a little girl, and seeing her now as a beautiful young lady and phenomenal dancer was incredibly special.
Both Carlie and Lexi are trained by Lowri Jones at LJSOD, and it truly shows

We also had Hannah in the studio — a true little powerhouse currently trained by Katie Hall, who was absolutely brilliant to capture! 💥
Darcy came to see me, and demonstrate what incredible talent she has for her dance / headshot session and the beautiful Arianna came in for some head shots too.
Later in the year, the mighty Lyra showed me that although she may be tiny, she is a powerhouse dancer too — trained by Finola Finley at FF Dancers 💫
Also later in the year, Mia came in for her dance session after winning the year before — and wow, she absolutely did not disappoint. An incredible dancer trained by Kelly Williams at KWSOD.
Beyond the studio, it was a real privilege to step out as the official photographer for the Milford Haven Business Circle . First for their incredible fundraiser at Boulevard Theatre , and later for their momentous Founding Day celebration. Capturing both of these amazing days was an absolute pleasure, and I can’t wait for this year’s events ✨
Working with the amazing crew from Vision Arts / The Boulevard Theatre has been a huge part of my year. From welcoming several casts into the studio for promo shoots, to capturing the magic of their shows live on stage, it has been non-stop creativity. A massive highlight was The Big Pembs Panto and its fabulous cast — I was there to capture everything from the dress rehearsal to the glitz of the Gala evening, and even managed to snag some cheeky behind-the-scenes work too! I’m already looking forward to working with them again in 2026.
One unforgettable highlight of the year was inviting the cast of Elf the Musical into the studio for promo photos. Standing at the studio door, not quite sure what to expect, only to be greeted by Santa carrying a Christmas tree down the street, followed by elves, presents, a rocking chair, and a studio packed full of people and props 🎄
Without a doubt, one of the most memorable and fun evenings of the year.
Christmas minis returned too, with huge thanks to Byron for helping design and build the set — enabling me to welcome so many families into the studio to capture their festive memories. I also loved working with the incredible Snowflake the Elf from Magical Moments Events , who brought so much extra magic and joy to the studio! 🤍
2025 also brought so many meaningful personal sessions — including a maternity session with the beautiful Tonia, celebrating the upcoming arrival of her newest baby 🤍
Carys showed me just how talented she is with her trumpet during her session — a truly fabulous birthday gift from her mum and such a joy to capture 🎺✨
I also had the honour of offering wedding coverage for Chelsea & Craig, capturing their special day and the love they share — a beautiful reminder of why documenting life’s biggest moments means so much.
Investing in my own growth was also a priority this year. I attended the Wales and West Photography Show , where I had the fantastic opportunity to take part in a workshop run by Nikon and Laura Hinski Photography . Working with the stunning model Hannah Scoulding was a real highlight and gave me so much creative inspiration to bring back to the studio and becoming a member of the The Society of Photographers 📸
Add to that countless headshots, modelling portfolios, families, school portraits, birthdays, milestones, weddings, and creative projects — and I can honestly say it has been a truly unforgettable year for Captured Soul Photography.
