Steps to take during a carbon monoxide emergency for a solid fuel appliance:
1️⃣ Close the appliance vents to let the fire die down
2️⃣ Open doors and windows for ventilation
3️⃣ Leave the building
4️⃣ Call emergency services
5️⃣ Don't use the appliance until you've been told that it is safe to do so
