In celebration of International Women's Day I would like to give a shout out to all the fantastic women I have the pleasure to know, raise and work with.

A particular shout out to all the fabulous female founders I have had the pleasure of working with over almost 21 years in business.....

Some interesting stats:

- Currently, 19.1% of active UK companies are female-led.

- There are almost One Million women-led companies in the UK (997,090).

- 171,400 incorporated in the last year.

- Women-led companies received just 5.8% of all investments.

- There was a 4.37% increase in ethnic minority female-led companies in the last 12 months.

- Women occupy 1,275 or over 43% of roles on company boards at top British companies and 6,743 (35%) of leadership roles at the 350 FTSE companies, marking a year-on-year increase.
