Hydro Motion Media C.I.C Hydro Motion Media is a CIC that produces underwater film to document species and raise awareness. Mainly UK species we also have a carribean archive.

We work with the best and @ Based in Cornwall for the last 10 years we have built an extensive archive of underwater photo and video footage of marine species filmed on the conservation projects we have worked upon over the last 7 years. Our work has featured on BBC springwat

ch, autumnwatch and winter watch over the last 3 years. We have a 2022 project with natural england currently under production of 19 new films! We have ongoing projects working alongside The Cornwall Wildlife Trust and RSWT wildlifetrust Seasearch and Shoresearch projects. Our RSWT wildlifetrust films have supported national campaigns and mainstream tv.media press release for the last 6 years

We have trained numerous students and interns who have gone onto to great things. Our interns have gone on to become award-winning photographers and paid film makers working round the world. Featuring in national geographic the newyorktimes

Facelina annulicornis _ Seaslugs are fascinating creatures, most are near blind, many species seem to have simple "eyes" embedded in the skin - not on the rhinophores which you might imagine. These eyes - which are capable of detecting light and dark - may hold some benefit to detecting predators. However, they do not provide images as our eyes do. This is our estimation based upon experimental work done with sea hares (Rudman, W.B., 2005 Apr 22. Comment on Eyes of Aplysia california by B.W. Sea Slug Forum. But can we truly ever know how they perceive their watery world, are they really blind to their own splendour? It would seem so.
