This mini tree top adventure course is just £2!! 👍🏻

We tried out the course recently in Queensgate, Peterborough, and it was great! It’s 30 minutes for £2 for ages 5-14 years, which is an absolute bargain and something different to do if you’re up town. There is also a smaller play area for under 4’s with a ball pit which is just £1.

Although it looks small, it’s got a good mixture of obstacles to tackle!

The course is set up near the Yankee candle store until the 21st of April and bookings need to be made online.

Pros: It’s just £2 (there is also a .75p booking fee).

Cons: You can only book online, they were turning away walk ups yesterday.

If you are in the area, then it’s definitely worth a try. 👌

Just sharing some stills from yesterday - I defintley did not get enough pictures of the areas we visited, but it really was fantastic. ✌️🛝

Here is what you will find at Alconbury Weald:

🛝 Multiple playgrounds all within walking distance. All differently themed. (We didn’t get round all of them).

🚲 Skatepark

🏀 A multisport arena (basketball/football/tennis etc)

🪣 A sand play area (I didn’t find this but apparently there is one).

🏓 Table tennis tables

🚘 Free parking near the school

🪑 Plenty of benches and tables dotted around, a little shop close by (and I read a cafe but again didn’t spot this today).

📍 Use postcode PE28 4XG (which will take you near the school where parking is).

It really is a little gem, which we will definitely go back to explore further - great for a free day out too.

Recently we went to visit the Beach at Orton Mere to see what it was like. 🏖️

If you have a little one who loves sandpits and loves fairground rides, then the Beach at Orton Mere is perfect. There’s plenty of little rides, golf and the sandpit to keep them occupied for the whole session. ✌️

So what’s included:
💷 Entry fee is £10.99 per child (2 free adults per family)
⏰ 3 hour session
🎠 Unlimted access to all rides
⛳️ Unlimited access to golf
🏖️ Unlimited access to sand pit (bring your own bucket and spade or they can be purchased there)
🍔 Food, drink, pic & mix stalls, hook a duck (extra charge)
⛱️ Deck chairs and Parasols
🅿️ Free parking
📍 Orton Mere, Peterborough, PE2 7DH

It’s a nice idea, although feels a little compact, and would be great if there was an actual water aspect to it too, but all in all, Alfie loved it and he lived his best life for the whole 3 hours. 🫶🏻⛱️

Incase you didn’t know!! 👇

You have until this Tuesday to exchange your Tesco Club Card Vouchers for days out, eating out etc at triple value.

From Wednesday, it’s cut to double. If you trade in your vouchers now, you can still get them at triple value and vouchers are then valid for a year.

I’ve just swapped ours for a day out at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum and Official LEGOLAND Windsor 👌

Tell your friends so that they don’t miss out. ⬇️🙊

And we end half term with a chilled day at home, splashing around in the pool. 🛟💦

I’m not quite sure, how we are in our final term for our first year of school tomorrow. Where has that year gone? I would just like time to slow down.
