A maintenance day at a layout we built back in 2017. Layout is running superbly with just a couple of motors to tweak. Time for a little running session with some Cavalex Models 56 and 60 locos and wagons.

With so much positive feedback we have had much to discuss this week and one of the topics has been the price point. We always want to be fully transparent with our customers and as this was a brand new product the price point was a tricky one to gauge. A couple more layouts in the workshop progressing. Murphy’s Hill aggregates has had a facelift with a building added from goodwood scenics and weathered using Mig washes. A small N gauge layout is starting to have its track laid on the CNC board system and a smaller N gauge roundy to slot into a table is nearly complete on the scenics.

Back to layout builds today and another one is starting to take shape. This huge shed built by James styles using parts from LCUT creative. This will be a huge steam shed based on Exmouth junction in the 1960s.
