๐ธSPEEDWAY SEASON 2025๐
I thought I should probably do a post to look back on what an AWESOME Speedway season I've had. Every day I get to work in this sport truly is a blessing, to have so many amazing people I get to call colleagues, and to be trusted by so many people within this sport to do what I love is incredible.
This year I've started working with Emerson Betty, filming some of his practice days and creating graphics for his socials. I'm super grateful to be apart of his journey in the sport and can't wait to see him continue to improve next season.
I've had another fun season working with Clean Cut Sports on Lions TV. The Leicester season really has flown by and we've been lucky to not be hit by too many rain offs after that first meeting (it really did rain enough for the whole season!)
BSN has been so busy this year with editing and also covering some of their meetings as a camera op too. I've been to Oxford, Kings Lynn and Leicester with them this season which has been super fun. It's been great to get to know the team too (something I didn't get to do solely as their editor last year)
It's also been incredible to be recommended for and asked to do projects like filming and editing for the WSRA Bruce Penhall event in Birmingham, working on the Slide To Survive Documentary for British Speedway and hitting one of my goals in Speedway by being apart of Media Day!
Finally, this year working with the Forever Panthers Team and being asked to join the Supporters Club Committee has been busy but so rewarding. A season highlight has to be filming my home team that I grew up watching make their track return at Mildenhall. While the night was so so cold, working on a Panthers race night again has to be by far one of the BEST moments of the season for me!
I can't thank everyone I've worked with this year enough and I really can't wait to keep working in this amazing sport next year and hopefully for many more to come!
