I have a passion for words and for making your wording as clear, correct and effective as possible, whether it's your own book you're wanting to self publish, a report or marketing material, student dissertations, and anything in between. I proofread and edit and where the wording has been translated into English, I can also localise the language so that it makes more than just sense - so that it

has the right "flow" and doesn't jar with the reader. With professional editorial training, my career spans a broad range of experience including working with grants to businesses, sub-editing on a newspaper and teaching. I have an MA in Children's Literature and a BA in English & Linguistics. I hope to have my own books published one day and am learning as much about self-publishing as I can so that I can help aspiring self-publishing authors.

My Story

I am a copyeditor and proofreader specialising in non-fiction books. My aim is to help you make your writing as clear and polished as possible, whether it's your own book you're planning to self-publish, a report or marketing material, or academic work. If your text has been translated into English, I can make changes to your wording and sentence structure so that it makes more than just sense, helping it to "flow" and sound natural. With the rapid rise of self-publishing as an option for aspiring writers, I really enjoy helping self-publishers achieve their very best book. There is no reason why self-published books shouldn’t be every bit as professional as those by mainstream publishers.
