Today is the day! You can watch on the first link in my bio or be searching “A High Price for Ginger Beer” on YouTube. So incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this film… cast, crew, locations. To make this on such a minimal budget in the heat of Covid at the end of 2021, I am so proud of what we all created together. And a special thank you to Adam Morgan who entrusted me with this true story and has been a total support from day one.

Day Two Wrapped on , super full day at the church with an incredible cast & crew. All of the witness statements done✔️ with our amazing witness actors, coroner & foreman!So grateful also to all our incredible SAs who came down and also to the really lovely Rosemarie who allowed us to film at the stunning St Giles Church. Everyone was so wonderful and we’ve got some amazing shots. Cannot wait to get started on Post!

*Casting Calls*

Hi everyone! Just putting some casting calls out here for a period film I’m making in November: ‘A High Price for Ginger Beer’. All the info is on the attached photos & any questions please just PM me here or at Olivia Maiden. Roles are open to anyone & everyone! Please share or tag people you think may suit.

I am so sorry the roles are expenses only, I’ve been so excited to get out filmmaking again but it is a totally self funded low budget passion project - I totally get this may stop some people from applying! That being said, we do have a truly incredible crew onboard and I really believe we can make this a very special film and an enjoyable & rewarding shoot. I will be submitting the film to festivals around the world and I hope it can really pick up traction as I think the message is really important. Any & all profits made will also be going towards the The Good Grief Trust.

If interested, please email ([email protected]) with a recent headshot, showreel & CV, if you have them. If not then just your interest is fine and I’ll send over the self-tape sides and we’ll go from there. Please also let me know where your from in the country! We’re shooting in Petworth, West Sussex.

Had an amazing trip to Cardiff yesterday, location scouting at the wonderful St Fagans National Museum of History. It’s for a super exciting I’ll be making soon, written by the fantastic Adam James and set in the early 1900s! Been talking with them at the moment and they’ve been truly incredible with all their support. Can’t wait to share more soon🤞 it’s a huge honour to be trusted with this incredible script, based on a true story!🖋🎬
