A huge thank you to The Scottish Sun for highlighting the story of Dr Ann Moulds and her mother.

Despite following a vegetarian diet for more than 70 years, Dr Ann's 94-year-old mother was repeatedly served meat while living with dementia in a care home.

I have to say that behind the scenes this week looked slightly different to how it probably appeared on Zoom 😊

Lots of "polished" moments:

• strategy sessions with brilliant clients

• media opportunities flying backwards and forwards

• journalists coming back wanting interviews

• brainstorming ideas and shaping clients’ stories

• onboarding an exciting new client

• newsletters and press releases being written

However ..... behind the scenes?!

There were also daily workouts squeezed in where possible, warm lemon water and herbal teas forgotten and topped up with more hot water, tracksuit bottoms hidden under Zoom calls and lipstick applied approximately two minutes before meetings. Don't even mention the hair! A mind of it's own!

At various points there were voice notes, journalist emails and client messages all arriving at once while I convinced myself I definitely had time for “just one more thing”.

Yesterday involved switching from workout mode to media mode in approximately four minutes flat after squeezing in a swim before a client session 😄

If you run your own business you may resonate!

This week I worked with one client who already knows her industry inside out, however needed clarity and confidence around promotion, visibility and media relationships.

Another left our session feeling calmer, clearer and much more in control of what happens next.

PR is also about helping people stop feeling overwhelmed and start seeing exciting opportunities around them more clearly.

Also somewhere in the middle of all of that… we filmed something slightly cheeky and fun for Vegan Women’s Club social media too 😊

How was your week?

I am glad its Friday - although woke up thinking it was Saturday 😆
