Dwell Devon absolutely loved this last year and we’re so excited it’s coming back to 🌷✨

The South West’s original and largest Tulip Festival returns from April 3rd — and it’s set to be bigger, brighter and even more spectacular for 2026.

Over half a million tulips, 60 stunning varieties, endless photo opportunities and serious spring joy 🌷📸

Tickets are available now (we believe!) — and if last year is anything to go by, you won’t want to miss it.

Our first visit to and what a fabulous festive experience it turned out to be ✨

From the moment we arrived, it felt like Christmas had truly begun. Festive lights twinkled everywhere and there was no shortage of delicious food and drink to keep us warm. One of our favourite moments had to be the marshmallow toasting, simple, cosy, and very Christmassy.

The lights maze was magical, the Ferris wheel added a touch of fairground fun, yes, we braved it! And of course there was Santa!!

We also loved the tour of the castle, beautifully decorated for the season and full of festive charm.

A huge bonus for us was that dogs are welcome everywhere, which made the whole experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable. And as if the evening couldn’t get any better, we even spotted some (rein)deer on the walk back to the car, pure festive magic.

We’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re looking for something special to do in the run up to Christmas 🎄

Winter Wrapped Up!

Let’s talk cosy season essentials, because we’ve just come across Farmer & Weaver and they deserve a spot on your Christmas list. Alex and Lauren run a small farm on the edge of Salcombe, where their sheep provide the softest fleece that’s then crafted into beautiful British made blankets and homewares. Think natural colours, coastal inspiration and the kind of warmth you instantly want to curl up in!

If you’re looking to cosy up your home or find a gift with real heart, this is well worth a look ♥️
