‘Borderline’ from our brand new collab project Hollow Souls is OUT NOW everywhere.

This has been a super fun project to produce and mix. We tracked everyone live in the room at my place with the sole aim of capturing the live energy, warts and all. Real amps, no drum sampling, no gridding/editing and tonnes of committing on the in. Myself and Kris’ whole ethos from the beginning has been ‘capturing performances’ and a ‘vibe’.

We hadn’t rehearsed any of the material before the recording session (Kris and I had built rough demos as a guide for the guys which we’d only sent a week before). This approach worked so well as everything felt totally new and exciting when playing for the first few times. The song was captured in only a couple takes. I think you can hear that we’re all having a lot of fun playing the tune.

We then sent it off to to work his magic and what he sent back blew our minds 🔥
