Had a lovely day of finding eggs, and playing at bit of Ark Nova🐯🦁🐨 the board game, it is a very great game.

I just stumbled upon this project on kickstarter called The Cloaked Realm while scrolling trying to find a new board game kickstarter.
The Cloaked Realm is not a board game but a new animated season of 10 episodes based on science fiction from the 19th and 20th century.

Hello there, so I have a question for everyone .
How do I transition existing customers of my game KOMBAT KANGAROO! to my next game that definitely has a different market in mind, and also higher complexity.

For the next game I have not made all the rules yet, but have the general idea so it is uncertain when it will come out. I think it will play well but you never know until it hits a table!

In the footsteps of Marie Curie🥼🩻🧪 is a delightful game where you are one of Marie Curie’s assistants, where you try to prove experiments through combing 3 different metals gained through a changing input of cubes into a cube tower and also through out Marie Curie’s life.
Through certain player actions you can speed up Marie Curie’s life, the game ends when Marie Curie dies, the player with the most points wins.

This is a great game if you are fan of trading cubes especially if you like fast ones as this game takes 20-30 mins⏱️. Also, if you’re a fan of history the game comes with a description of Marie Curie’s life.

But, if you do not want a game about trading cubes but instead about placing kangaroos then KOMBAT KANGAROO!🦘 sounds like a good deal for you!

Yesterday, valentine day, I decided it was a good day for a board game (Of course any day is a good day for a board game, but it is a good excuse for one) I went to and played a game called 🐈🧶Calico🧵🐈‍⬛
1-4 players
45-75 mins

🐈🧶Calico🧵🐈‍⬛ is a puzzle game where you try to make a unique quilt combination of patterns and colours for your feline friends. Do not get fooled by the cozy atmosphere as you are not solving easy puzzles.

Players start with 2 quilt tiles each that will have a colour and a pattern, each player also starts with 4 design goals but chooses 3 to put on the quilt table.

Design goals show how you can get extra points if you follow the instructions of it and put specific combinations of quilts around it. When you play a quilt tile you try to complement or work towards helping make nice beds for feline friends, design goals and buttons (3 of a kind in colour for points).

After playing your quilt tile you must pick up an another tile from a market of 3 quilt tiles, after choosing refill market back up to 3 quilt tiles.

What I really enjoyed about 🐈🧶Calico🧵🐈‍⬛ is the amount of complexity and the tense excitement of making the combinations work( In my case the excitement of a combination working and then completely getting destroyed by realising the 101 mistakes my past self did)

I would recommend playing this game, especially if you like cats and problem solving, it sounds like a purrfect game🐈.

I don’t know about you but my cat much prefers to sleep in a box(2nd picture on the post ) than on a quilt, where does your cat like to sleep?

Last Black Friday as a board game treat I bought the big box of Century.
I already played Spice road but never played the other games and the 7 different combinations of Century.
The first new one I played was Century New World 🌍
2-4 players
30-45 mins
Century New World is a simple worker placement game where you use workers to collect and trade resources of the new world.
Resources consist of Corn🌽->Meat🥩->Tobacco🍃->Fur🐻.
the least ranking is Corn🌽 being the most easy to gain but also is the least useful resource. The top ranking is Fur🐻 that is most useful but is the least easy resource to gain and every other resource is somewhere in the middle.
You gain these resources to fulfil a range of orders that give you points, a symbol and an effect.
Symbols are important as throughout the game you can take 3 bonus tiles that can be dependent on points per symbol pattern.
Similar effects have the same symbol and effects give your play style a cool twist as you can increase workers, make certain tasks cost less workers, more resources at certain tasks or gaining a exploration tile for an instant bonus of your choosing.
All in all I was pleasantly surprised with Century the New World, my only criticism would be that it would an excellent bonus if the board and player board was not paper, if anyone knows anybody who sells a better board please tell me because Century New World is a great game.

If trading resources is not your type of game well I recommend to you KOMBAT KANGAROO!
