Mokoko village expansion made by Doomlings

The Mokoko village greets you with 40 more cards to add to your DOOMLING collection .

The serene spirit + flowers that cover this expansion box exhibits quite accurately what this expansion brings to the table.

Simplicity and calmness where no new mechanics are added, just communities of DOOMLINGS that have interesting abilities.

Musicians DOOMLINGS: Worth 0 points and have temporary effects like +1 gene pool or play 1. But musician DOOMLINGS are discarded at worlds end. ( these DOOMLINGS can be useful short term but sometimes not beneficial long term )

Outcast DOOMLINGS: Worth - points but if discarded or removed from your trait pile has various powerful abilities.

Masked DOOMLINGS: Discards your own traits.

Critter: Effect less traits and are cute☺️.

Villagers DOOMLINGS: Varied in abilities like most villages.

Sprites DOOMLINGS: All dominant, my favourite is the trait Teeny.

What I enjoyed 😁 As always very beautiful cards The expansion does not add new mechanics just more DOOMLINGS that look cool and have interesting abilities. This means this expansion is more beginner friendly.

What I enjoyed less 🥲 I wish there could be a variety expansion like this which adds DOOMLINGS cards, but no new mechanics.

Conclusion😁
If you were to ask me I would say DOOMLINGS legends of Enderas expansion would be a better value purchase if you want to enhance the DOOMLINGS experience to have more more mechanical elements + more DOOMLINGS, but if you’re a beginner DOOMLINGS fan looking for a smal expansion or you just want a bit more DOOMLINGS, then I welcome you to Mokoko village😄.

As well as board games I have another special interest, pinball.

Found a Jurassic Park pinball today, It was amazing🤩!

In Jurassic park pinball pro by Stern Pinball you catch escaped dinosaurs, feed the the T-Rex with goats and drain your ball several times to the raptor shot😆🥲.

In this pinball machine the goal for the first extra credit is around 24 million. How you do the trick shot is that a short time after the ball is released you shoot the T-Rex shot. If you complete the the skill shot and do the T-Rex shot consecutively after this skill shot, I believe you get a special secret skill shot where you get 10 million points. ( But I am unsure😄)

- Tips for this pinball -
When doing the raptor shot, it is likely to drain if you don’t tilt the machine ( my ball has drained every single time🥲😆)
If you do the T-Rex shot (which is the shot center at the top) multiple times you can activate a mode where you hunt dinosaurs which have escaped, you shoot ramps to capture the dinosaurs or you can work your way to T-Rex multi ball with this shot by feeding the T-Rex.
I used the death bounce technique (letting the ball bounce on a flipper without flipping it to gain control on the opposite flipper) while playing this machine a lot, I think it helped😄
Remember that the ball is the only thing that matters during playing, stay calm, do not get distracted by the points, adapt with the ball until you get an opportunity to control it, then look more carefully where to shoot for points😄.

-Conclusion-
I really enjoyed this pinball machine and I wish that I could just walk into a pub spend a few pounds and get a few credits and see how many credits I could score on the machine ( In Plymouth there are pinball machines, but they have infinite credits but I want to earn credits and want it to be casual fun in a pub).

Honestly finding any pinball in a pub these days is hard, especially in the UK but if I ran into this Jurassic park pinball pro I would be extra excited because it is a Jurassic blast😁.

Anybody else enjoy both pinball and board games😄?

Got around to playing Fetching feathers by

It has been an absolute hit with my family and if you’re a fan of Zuuli, this is a must buy game as it has similar mechanics to Zuuli but a bit more complex and different. It also comes with beautiful cards with fetching birds😁.

I bought 2 games, want to gues what I bought?

1st game is by Rein Kniza in which you build buildings and can score points for longest row of houses similarly to ticket to ride.

2nd game is a tile placing game where you place hexagons to score points and your creating different types of a certain type of plant (hint: the name of the game is the plant).

Got around to playing Crew Mission Deep Sea, and it was great fun, I didn’t know there was so many missions😁.

Great cooperative trick taking game that is quite quick, that I am excited to play again.

Crew deep sea mission is only 1 of the crew games, and there are lots of different Crew games, I would be interested to see how they differ.

If you have 2 Crew games how do they differ?

Also played Flip 7 at a bar, which had some board games including Flip 7, Carcassonne, Skyjoe and other games.

It was fun, I played too risky though and kept getting 0 points😆🤣!!!

Review

By Doomlings legends of Enderas is an expansion to DOOMLINGS which adds Dinolings🦖, Mythlings✨, Techlings⚙️, Treasures💎 and Fuselings ( A combination of 🦖✨⚙️)

This expansion adds lots of new ideas with these new Doomling types but my favourite addition to this expansion must be the Treasures.

1 treasure💎 is given to each player after each age and treasures💎 mainly act as special one use actions that can be a massive upgrade to the turn. ( including drawing more trait cards, playing 2 cards under restrictions, changing a bad trait for a good trait under restrictions and more, on your turn) ( some treasures💎 do allow you to stop actions out of turn though).

+ I really enjoy treasures as it makes every go feel exciting and it lessens the negative feeling of getting a bad hand of traits, as you usually always have at least 1 treasure on your go.

Favourite type of Doomlings is a split between Techlings and Dinolings.

+ Dinolings are an interesting addition as they score lots of points but they have a habit of extincting themselves and this means they may die and not score you points but, with some treasure cards you can stop actions so you can stop extinction (yay!)(If only this was real life😀)

+ Techlings mainly use the new mechanic of attachment DOOMLINGS who can attach to one other doomling, the host of the attachment doomling may be affected or depending who the host is the affect attachment doomling may vary. Attachment Doomlings with their ability can be quite powerful and can lead to some cool combos.

Things to consider😅

- I would recommend using all the DOOMLINGS of a specific type as you will have a better experience with them all, finding these cards may lead to increase in set up time.

- If you play with Treasures💎 (that I highly recommend you do😁) be aware there’s a bit more complexity and it may for some not be suitable to play while having dinner etc.

In conclusion I believe Legend of Enderas is an absolute blast, I am tempted to say this is my new favourite expansion for doomlings and I would recommend this to be the next expansion you buy for DOOMLINGS!
