Pushed produced a series of three animated explainers as part of the Valuing Forces Families Overseas Project supported by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and Families Federation, created to support all UK military families preparing for overseas assignments.

Covering children’s education, healthcare pathways and the logistics of moving pets, the series translates detailed guidance into clear, accessible content. These animations now serve as a cross‑service resource, helping families across the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force navigate the complexities of international relocation with confidence.

In Easter bunny’s workshop, creativity runs wild and sometimes a little messy. One egg comes out spotty, one with zigzags and another tartan and a few.. well let’s say they have spray, splatter character.

Easter is about fun, surprises and a little bit of bunny mischief.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the theme: When We Give, We Gain.

When women support women, we all rise.
When we share knowledge, open doors, and lift each other up, strength multiplies.
When we give our time, our courage, our compassion, we gain progress, power, and possibility.

Giving isn’t weakness. It’s leadership.
It’s community.

And when we give , truly give, we don’t lose anything.

We gain everything!

Wow. What a Friday as an winner with Theo Paphitis at the ICC in Birmingham was.

Over 1,000 small businesses under one roof. The energy? Electric. The buzz? Real.

Theo reminded us through the power of mindset the glass is always half full — prop in tow! Cheers to that.

The themed event was an absolute treat. High energy. Inspirational. Packed with powerful speakers and brilliant moments.

The fireside chat between Theo and Katie Piper OBE was unforgettable.

Katie’s resilience is on another level. After life-changing injuries in 2008 aged just 24 — rebuilding her face and scalp, countless skin grafts, the loss of one eye — she continues not just to heal, but to thrive. Through founding the Katie Piper Foundation, supporting burns survivors, staying family-focused and always showing up as her best self.

Her message? Know who you are. Turn up with self-respect. Be the best version of you. Even attending hospital bandage changes in high stilettos and a blazer — taking control where she could. Powerful.

The live pitching session sponsored by the NatWest Business brought even more excitement. Good to hear from:

noble gift

Huge congratulations to Katie Taylor, founder of Evenly Balanced on the win!

Thank you to Theo, the and sponsors for championing the small business community winners now standing at over 4,500 strong.

Being in that room reminded me why community matters. I left re-energised, inspired and incredibly proud to be part of it.

Still smiling. Still grateful. Still inspired.
Proof that resilience really does rock.

Big day today! 🙌I’m off to the International Convention Centre (ICC) to meet Theo Paphitis after being named one of this year’s Small Business Sunday winners.Massive thank you for the recognition – it genuinely means a lot. I’m really looking forward to meeting plenty of new faces and catching up properly with the ones I already know as we celebrate together.

Running a small business brings its fair share of challenges, but one thing we truly value is connection.

We’re fortunate to already have a strong and supportive network locally and we know just how powerful those relationships can be. Small Business Sunday builds on that — bringing together entrepreneurs and small businesses from across the UK to share ideas, experiences and encouragement on a wider scale.

I’m really looking forward to the annual event this Friday. It’s a brilliant opportunity to strengthen connections, spark new ideas and celebrate the power of businesses supporting each other.

Why say it… when you can animate it?
Sometimes your message just needs a little movement to truly come alive.

Love is everywhere, in every laugh, every glance, every shared moment. From a scenic mountain drive to a picnic above the clouds, today is about celebrating love in all its forms. And as a heart-shaped balloon floats into the sky, we’re reminded that love always has a way of taking flight and lifting you up.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Have you heard of slow looking?

I hadn’t until recently. It’s about pausing with a single piece of artwork or object and giving yourself time to truly notice the details and be present, rather than rushing on. In a fast-paced world, this simple practice can spark inspiration and support emotional resilience and tonight I gave it a whirl in the company of “Journeys with Mai” at The Box, Plymouth!

This exhibition explores Europe–South Pacific histories, with Sir Joshua Reynolds’ portrait of Mai at its heart. Born in Plympton in 1723, Reynolds studied Italian masters and championed the Grand Style (adding dignity through poses inspired by antique sculpture). Later, he endured hearing loss and diminishing vision yet remained a leading 18th-century artist.

The launch was additional special as Hinatea Colombani and Moeava Mede introduced us to their language and uplifting praise

Running 14th February - 14th June, it’s a rare chance to experience Mai up close—an oil-on-canvas portrait in Plymouth sparking curiosity, dialogue, and delight! City of Culture right here!

I’m no Picasso… so went armed with templates - so just for clarity this is an octopus not a spider - and his 8th arm is behind him. 🤣

Last evening I attended a creative gathering with St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth at Bonne Sante where I had the pleasure of painting a miniature lighthouse in support of the St Luke’s Guiding Lights project - Beacons, Bubbles and Brushes.

Coming to Plymouth in Summer 2026, Guiding Lights will feature a trail of beautifully painted lighthouse artworks displayed across the city. Visitors will be able to follow the trail using maps and an app, making it a fantastic, accessible experience for residents and visitors alike.

The project raises vital funds for St Luke’s, supporting compassionate end-of-life care both within the hospice and out in the community. At the end of the trail, all 40 lighthouses will be auctioned, with proceeds going directly towards patient care.

We are incredibly fortunate in Plymouth to have St Luke’s on our doorstep. Having personally witnessed the care and support they provide to families, I know just how invaluable their work is. Initiatives like Guiding Lights also help open up honest, age-appropriate conversations with children and families about death, loss, and support — something that is so important, yet often difficult to approach.

I’m a huge advocate for St Luke’s and the incredible work they do. It’s fantastic to see them bringing the community together through creativity and giving everyone the opportunity to get involved.

If you’d like to learn more about the Guiding Lights trail, keep an eye out for updates and information about how to take part on their website.
