From the start line to the final push, every mile had to be earned. Stunning scenery met pure fatigue as the coast tested both body and mind.

Accompanying my son on his first ultra event 😃 the weather is awful, wet and windy just the way we don’t like it 🤪.

The Classic Quarter is a relentless Ultra Marathon along the south Cornish coast in the UK from Lizard Point to Land's End. First hosted in 2007 each year the event grows in global reputation.

The task is brutally simple: to run non-stop from the southernmost point of England (Lizard Point), to the western most tip (Lands End), along the legendary South West Coast Path. This translates to running 90 degrees of the compass, hence the name, Classic Quarter.

Thank you everyone for your support today. You are all awesome 🙏 The weather was absolutely brutal this morning – sideways hailstones, sandstorms, and gale-force winds. At times it felt like the cliffs were trying to throw us into the sea! 😂🌪️

Oliver was an absolute warrior. After picking up a knee injury and a foot injury, he somehow battled through the final 11 km using my walking poles to help keep him moving and dragged himself all the way to the finish line.

It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t easy, but he showed incredible determination and grit when many people would have called it a day.

Massive congratulations, Oliver – a truly hard-earned finish. 💪🏅👏

TREVORNICK 10K RACE DAY | Coastal Running in Cornwall 🏃‍♂️🌊

Today we headed down to Trevornick Holiday Park in Cornwall for a brilliant 10K race along the stunning Cornish coastline. Fast sections, rolling hills, sea air, and some tough moments towards the end made this a proper race day experience.

In this video you’ll see:
• Pre-race atmosphere
• Scenic coastal running shots
• Race highlights and pacing
• Honest mid-race struggle
• Finish line reaction
• Cornwall running scenery at its best

The conditions were ideal and the route delivered some incredible views throughout the run. Definitely one of those events where you’re battling the course while trying to appreciate the scenery at the same time.
